Panel Discussion on Leveraging Machine Learning to Grow Revenue for Society Publishers

Machine Learning will be a critical differentiator in creating a wide range of business advantages during and after the pandemic. With an aim to explore some of the challenges that professional societies are facing around domain-specific scholarly content, disseminating relevant content faster, enabling enhancement of member services and deliver increased value, we conducted a virtual panel discussion on ‘Leveraging Machine Learning to Grow Revenue for Society Publishers’ on June 23, 2021.
Our eminent team of panelists included–Steven Heffner, Managing Director, Publications, Institute of Electricals & Electronics Engineers (IEEE); Richard Hollingsworth, Managing Director, The Bone & Joint Journal; Jignesh Bhate, Founder & CEO, Molecular Connections. They highlighted probable solutions and innovative ways for societies to engage their users and overcome the obstacles posed by open access content.
The session was moderated by Jayne Marks, Ex VP, Global Publishing of Wolters Kluwer Health & Consultant Molecular Connections, and organized by Krishna K, Director – Sales & Marketing, Molecular Connections.
