BANGALORE, INDIA & OSLO, NORWAY | September 2026

Molecular Connections today announced a partnership with Scandinavian University Press, to adopt Journal Manager as a modern, cost-effective, and user-friendly submission and review platform for its journals.

Scandinavian University Press publishes over 70 journals and needed a new platform that was more cost-effective, flexible, and user-friendly. After rigorous testing and configuration to meet the Scandinavian University Press’ needs, Journal Manager was selected as the best choice.

Built on modern architecture with zero legacy codebase, Journal Manager delivers greater value at lower cost, including more intuitive user experiences, more flexible configuration and integration, multijournal operation, and fully responsive interfaces for all devices, including mobile.

“We publish across many journals with varying cadence and needs. With Journal Manager we will have an efficient, flexible and user-friendly system, so we can strengthen our editorial processes for our journals," said Nils Lahlum, Publisher, Scandinavian University Press.

“Small to medium-sized and independent publishers need intuitive and effective user experiences”, said Vidyendra Sadanandan, CTO & CISO, Molecular Connections. “We are creating a better product by unpacking the requirements and solving them with better design and modern architecture that can evolve with needs. When demands on authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers continue to increase, that difference is beyond cosmetic. It’s the engine of scalable workflows.”
